more frequent refreshes?

I've had a Droid Charge for a week now, and I'd like to increase the frequency of the refreshes to my email. Any suggestions?

welcome to the forum. im not sure but i think its only at a 15 min interval, minimum. i think refresh every 5 min would eat the battery. my thoughts anyway :
