no more email pop up after S3 upgrade to 4.3

i just upgrade my s3 to andriod 4.0 and have problem where no pop up from email but have to refresh to see email.

from sync settings

firstly
(1/1) i check the 'master sync has been disabled ' .
(1/2)did a test but still need to press refresh icon to see new incoming email without any notification of ringtone nor vibrate
(1/3)then before i read the email , i try to see the email icon - only then i can see number 1 for the new email just received after refresh.


secondly
(2/1) with sync disabled,
(2/2)did a test but even while i pressed refresh icon there is no action .this is ok because its not sync.
(2/3) i try step firstly .

am just using the apps which was in S3 when bought.
before it was working find ,,issue happened after upgrade of Android.
