Mobile movie downloads

I had a blackberry storm prior to this phone and it let me download movies to my Sd card. I tried to do this from the same site with my Droid x 2 and it only streams movie and won't let me download or save them. Is there a setting I can change or am I using the wrong sites? Also happens with music.

Same here. With previous phones I was able to chose between dl our stream...now this phone had no option on the same sites.

Not sure why but mine is working again through ES video player. You may try installing ES file manager and see if it works because it obviously came with a media player that I didnt know about till now. I usually use astro.

I downloaded ES file manager but it still just plays it instead of downloading it.

I went to the site and downloaded a few episodes of a TV show and it worked fine using opera and moboplayer. I'll try again using the default browser and player.
