Yeah, I suppose $7.50-$12.50 could squeeze margins a little, but you are only talking 2-3%, at most. A far bigger threat would be if the phone companies ever stop artificially inflating prices with their "subsidy" on 2-yr contracts.

One thing is they all seem to have patent claims against each other. Hard to imagine what a linux-based system is infringing on MS.
