making text bigger on screen?

My eyes are not as good as they used to be. I'm looking for an application that lets me magnify the text on-screen.

I just got magnify v1.2 and I love it for reading menus,etc but it does not help when browsing the web.

Is there an application out there that essentially scales the screen with a finger spread?

You do know that pinch to zoom work within the browser, right?

The app "spare parts" lets you change font size.
