I change it almost daily but have come back to this setup. The pulldown screen was done by Mobile Sensei. Launcher Pro with a dock from the BWC theme. Red Battery icon and Red line are from a thread somewhere on this forum.

Here are my 'Gears of War' inspired homescreens on my Droid X:

I was going for a some-what minimalistic look(primary homescreen), with a type of graphic style, as well. Something different and cool.

Widgets I'm using:

Third screen:

• AudioManager
• PowerAMP
• Shazam

Fourth screen:

• LauncherPro Plus(Dreamlyfe.Ice Custom Dock)
• Beautiful Widgets(Gears-style)
• Widgetsoid
• Circle Battery Widget

Fifth screen:

• Tweetcaster Widget

Done tweaking for a while, will probably keep this theme for a week or two.

"Contacts" "Social" and "Media" are SIMI Folder widgets that bring up app windows when pressed.

Try "android agenda widget" from market. Very customizable with several built in themes or you can edit everything manually.
