LG G5 Coming to US in Early April and is Bringing 'Friends'

For a few weeks now, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been dominating most of the mobile tech headlines. It might be easy to forget that the hot new LG G5 was also revealed on the same day as Samsung's flagship.

In fact, in our own online member poll, it was the G5 presentation that won out over the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. We have some exciting news on the G5 front today. LG confirmed that their flagship will hit store shelves in the US in "early April." Additionally, they confirmed it will be bringing along several of its new "Friends."

These are most of the various add-on modules that were teased during the LG G5 press release. The first batch of buddies along for the ride will be the light VR headset, the Camera Plus, and the 360-degree camera. The other modules, like the high-fidelity audio DAC LG built with Bang and Olufsen, and the rolling bot will show up later.

This is exciting stuff for LG fans!

On the Verizon version, the bottom is where they will keep all the bloat....you can just take it off and throw it away!

I have been buying LG phones for 4 years and looks like I'll be ordering the G5.
