Lenovo is apparently working on a gigantic Android tablet. A Lenovo tablet with an 18.4-inch display showed up on GFXBench. The device had the following model name, PB2-690N, and showed the following specs beyond just the huge display:
  • 18.4-inch display (2560×1440)
  • Snapdragon 652 processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • Android 6.0.1 “Google Edition.” (nearly stock Android)
  • Front camera is 8MP
  • Rear is only 0.3MP (why bother putting such a weak rear camera at all?)
Would you consider buying a tablet of this size?

18.4? No. That's bigger than my laptop and I hate carrying that around.

I wish someone would make a cheap 12-14" tablet with the primary purpose of being a second screen/desktop for your laptop.

Who in their right mind would even think to use such a monstrous device as a camera to take pictures of anything other than themselves while looking at it? A rear camera on that thing is just absolutely ridiculous.

You should see the people with iPads taking pics. "Let me hold this book up and snap pics"

The biggest screen on my lap that I can enjoy is the 15" of a laptop, I can't imagine holding up that beast.

Not impressed with the specs and I have to agree on the cameras. I think it's great that they put a (hopefully) decent camera on the front, as you might use this for skype/etc, but can't understand why they'd put a camera on the back at all.

It drives me nuts to see people taking pictures with iPads. This would be just that much worse.

My Remix Ultra tablet is just under 12 inches. That's nice for sitting on the coffee table to use when I don't feel like digging out my laptop with it's 17" screen, but want something a bit bigger than my phone at 5.7" or my Shield K1 at 7".

At this size, I don't see why they don't go bigger and just make smart TVs. I guess it's a bit of a portability thing. With kids, this might make sense as something to haul around on trips, but I'm still not sold on it.
