I am using K-9 Mail version 3.802, running on a Druid 2 Global phone using Android 2.4.330.A956.Verizon.en.US. When I click on a mailto link on a web page, I am given a choice of mail clients to use, but the list of choices doesn't include K-9 Mail.
From my online research, when an app such as K-9 Mail is installed, it includes an XML file that tells Android how the app can be used. Apparently, my version of K-9 Mail doesn't tell the system that it can be used to send plain-text email messages.
Does anyone know of a way to add this setting to an already-installed copy of K-9 Mail?
