Incredible 2 only charging battery 50%; bricked?

I recently noticed my Incredible 2 was only showing the battery life to be 50% after charging it overnight. I switched AC chargers and the problem continued. So I figured the battery was done, for whatever reason, and I ordered a replacement battery from Verizon directly. The replacement battery also only charged to 50% after a full night's charge. So...it's probably an issue with the phone itself. I have Total Equipment Coverage but getting a new phone's a hassle and I like my Incredible 2 (not guaranteed to get another I imagine). I figure it might be the phone's "charging circuitry"...is that easily repairable? I need to have a fully-charging phone in a week or so... :-/

Are you rooted and running a ROM?

Is your phone acting up in any other way? Have you tried a factory reset? (Yes I know you probably don't want to start over, but it'd alot easier than opening up the phone and trying to figure out what you're doing)

I've heard of usb ports dying, but never just charging to 50%.
