If i restore my droid can i get my data back

Hello I've had my Droid 2 for a couple days and am having weird things happen should I restore it by going to settings<privacy<factory data reset.And when I do is there a way to get my data back.

Are you refering to a factory data reset?

If so, what data are you worried about losing? Most things are tied to your gmail account and will auto restore once you sign back in. Apps included.

Ok did that and apps got automatically reinstalled app data didn't but I've only had my droid for a couple days and the only game I got far in was angry birds

Yeah it doesn't save the data. You'd need to root to save all the app data. Hope that fixed the initial problem though.
