Did you install a custom rom or are you running stock?
How did you reformat your SD card?

have you tried to do a battery pull? If not pull the battery for about 30 seconds and see if that helps. It may not but sometimes it is the magic fix.

I may be wrong but if you are not rooted clearing your SD card should not prevent you from booting your phone.

Pull your battery and press and hold X and power

If you don't know what rooted is then most likely your not. I don't think formatting your SD card will cause your phone not to boot. Try removing your card and booting. If it boots then I guess its the card. If not go hit up the hacking section and read up on sbf files and how to flash them and since your warranty is most likely up I would go ahead and read up on rooting your phone and get in on some custom rom goodness. Good luck.
