Howdy From a Newbie

FedEx says my Droid will be delivered tomorrow! :icon_ banana:

Anyway, new to smartphones and new to this forum. My daughters have smartphones (Blackberrys) and I feel dumber'n a bag full of hammers when I try to use them. Poor eyesight - contacts and reading glasses and half deaf on top of that (too many years of flying cessnas w/out head phones and playing guitars with amps on 11:rockon so I'm hoping I'll be able to see the screen and hear the dam thing :laugh:. Looking forward to absorbing all the tech info I can from this site and maybe helping out others one day!

Once you get the hang of your Droid you will not only impress, but surpass your daughters in the smart phone world. Droid does so much more Don't be overwhelmed! We all had a steep learning curve on this device, even those of us familiar with smart phones.
