How to show more dates on Calendar widget on home screen?

My google calendar widget on my home screen only shows events which are within the next two weeks ago. Is anyone aware of a setting which I can toggle to show more dates on the widget? Are there any types of work around if there isn't?

I was also wondering if there is any type of lockscreen widget that I could see upcoming events when my phone is locked?

I cant help with the first part, but widget locker allows for an alternative lock screen in which you could have different items / widgets on you lock screen

I have widget locker, but it annoys me because it isn't consistant. For example sometimes the original lockscreen shows up, and once that is unlocked you have to unlock the phone again because of widget locker.

Also, for anyone wondering, you can use Agenda widget to show more calendar dates.
