How often does my phone sync with google?

I'm curious if anyone knows what the delay time is on the Droid for syncing with google? It seems like I am waiting forever for email to arrive. Everything is setup to sync properly but is there a way to change the interval? Is it every 30 minutes or something?

Weird, mine is instant....

In fact, it seems my mail appears on my phone even before the gmail web app's title updates to tell me there is a message waiting.

Are you using the Gmail app, and not the Email app?

There have been a few people that reported not getting synced correctly. They had to remove the mail account and add it back, it happened to me on the second gmail account i added.

mine is definetley instant, I changed a picture of one of my contact son my computer then opened my phone and it was already changed

Ok, didn't have to remove the account. Rebooted the phone and all is good now. I must have done something to screw it up but it's great now. Thanks for the posts.

mine is not instant at all... i have to refresh.. starting to get annoyed with this phone....
