Can we Get a Sticky?? Home Replacement Apps = Completely new phone experience.

Is this Thread Sticky Worthy?? almost 10,000 Views!

GDE (latest v0.1.7.5)
Supports multiple desktops (up to 7), different transition animations, Droid supported (minus landscape orientation). List of applications is very similar to the Droid's contact list (allows to scroll by first letter)

PandaHome (latest v1.7.0)
FREE, supports multiple desktops, massive customization. Droid NOT supported yet (supposedly an update for it will be released on the 19-20th of Nov). UPDATE:: Droid Beta now available. Once installed it will appear in your apps tray, click on the icon and then you will be asked if you want the Beta version or the Stable version. Select Beta and it will take you to a website in your browser where you can download the proper Pandahome Release. PandaHome for Droid v1.0 Application for Android | Entertainment

DxTop (latest v2.3.1)
http://www.androlib.com/android.appl...ncher-zjF.aspx
DxTop works on Android 2.0 but when leaving a program/app/browser and going back to the Home Screen the icons take several seconds to show back up leaving speedy multi tasking out the window. Has ability built in to Change any Icon on the Home Screen to a custom one. aHome and Open Home skins work with DxTop. Not your conventional swiping left or right to get through the 4 screens.

Sweeter Home
Still very early software, has good potential. Not a good idea to use it as a primary Home due to its early stage of manifestation.

Open Home
http://www.androlib.com/android.appl...home2-AFA.aspx
Works on Android 2.0 but not completely compatible yet. Several Force Close and slow down Issues.

aHome
Droid unsupported

Keep in mind it may not be 2.0 updated yet as well. If it is and it has random crashes, contact the developer, they will probably get on it pretty quickly.

Having trouble finding this one on the market. A search for Open Home brings up a lot of apps. Any tips for finding this one?

What does the wall paper look like now though? Currently they are set for only 3 pages. Does the left page just stay the same when you go the other 2 more pages over?

We need a good screencap utility so we can take easy screenshots of what we are talking about.

From what I've read, we need root access for screenshots. Hopefully root will be achieved soon.

When I scroll the wallpaper covers all 7 screens. The wallpaper appears to move with each scroll left or right clear to the last screen.

The comments on Open Home Lite on Android Market are pretty low, makes me hesitant to install and use it. Lot of the themes seem to be focused on HTC models too.

I was hesitant after installing open home lite too. But I made the jump and Im happy.

I just installed a Theme call Open Home Skin - Android 2.0 and it makes the phone look identical with the stock device and uses the stock Icons which Im diggin. But it gives you 7 screens. Also if you think 7 is to many there is an option to change it to 5 or back to 3 even.
