I'd love to give it a try. I'm a tech in the Coast Guard and have the tendancy of putting my phones through hell on boats, underground in manholes, on towers...basically all over. This past week my X was strapped to a climbing harness when I was climbing 600 foot tall LORAN C towers.

Hi yall, I finally got my Droid X today. Yay, waited 2 months. Anywho, now that I got it finally, I can now start making cases for it. I see my first working prototype to be done in 2-4 weeks. And so I was hoping, if anyone would be interested in doing a review / preview of my cases when that time comes.

These review units will be free and only require you to write back to me with your thoughts on it, before it goes into production... think of it as beta testing. Oh, and you must live in the US. But aside from that, if you are interested please let me know, by replying in this thread, it would be much appreciated!

Just a note:
Only a few people will receive the review unit, since I obviously can't afford giving free cases out to everyone. I will pm the people who gets chosen for the reviews. So you know who are, and the rest will be notified here when all the spots get full.

I would be glad to review your product. I have QA experience and I am currently a Quality Assurance representative. Just be prepared as I will be brutaly honest with you. If I like your product I will purchase one for my Wifes DX.

As far as stuff I can put it through I am a ff/paramedic so can test how it holds up there. Have both extended and regular batteries.

I'm a fire dancer so my phone is always around fuel and fire...also do massage therapy, so my hands often have residual oil. I've also written reviews for other products, notably a car wax for Meguier's.

If it is still open, I would be like to test it out. I am looking for a good case, unfortunately I am a little picky and haven't found what I am looking for yet (been through about 5 so far), so I will definitely be objective

Volunteers will be closed this Friday, I will then review everyone's submission and PM the ones who will get to be a part of the beta test, the rest who werent chosen will be notified here.

For those of you who get chosen to be beta testers, you will be providing input, pros and cons, thoughts, and will receive the physical prototypes for review when ready.
