I want working HDMI. Which ROMS allow use of the port. Or what apps can activate use of the HDMI feature on the Droid x.

You won't find this in any of the from source roms (cm4dx, ssx, liquid) for a while. afaik all the ones based on Blur 596 can still do HDMI out.
