Having a horrible time with new droid

I just got my phone yesterday and would like to learn about it but I can't find a manual and the links ya'll have guided me to aren't what I am looking for. I know all of this is trial and error but I am getting so frustrated I feel like throwing the phone! but I won't.
I have tried searching but everything point to the Motorola and don't look like it would work for this phone. eg music downloads, transfer from my iPod, loading videos (will look for Media Monkey tomorrow couldn't find it a minute ago), geez I can't even get to my voice mail!
Any help is appreciated. Looks like I need all I can get.

I'm using Motorola Media Link to sync music files: Motorola Media Link - Motorola USA
It isn't great but it did transfer all of my iTunes stuff that wasn't DRM'd

Voicemail is just like all Verizon phones. Open the phone dialer screen and hold down the 1 until it dials.

WHat do you mean you can't get to voicemail? Dial *86 and you can reach it that way.

Have you tried the voicemail button on the phone dialer screen?
