"Hard Reset"

    Love the DNA but couldn't believe how many un-uninstallable apps it came with. If I hard rest the phone will it wipe those apps? Sorry I'm an apple convert and I'm totally 100% new to this.

    no try a rom or just root the phone, install busybox, install titanium backup and freeze unwanted apps

    If I do this will my carrier still recognize the phone? I.E. when I turn it on will it make calls or dO i have to do something.

    yep. it will make calls. lol just be careful and dont freeze anything important like systemui
