Handcent-Can't get a download to work?

I have Handcent and recently when my friend sends me a text (image) to download it would not open up for me but I used to be able to open these texts, images up. I reinstalled it and still nothing. ANy ideas?

still having Downloading issues

I don't understand I used to be able to download an image sent from a friend through Handcent but now I can no longer open an image it just says downloading. Any ideas?
