Google Voice messages and Bluetooth

I have my voicemail set up with Google Voice. When I listen to a message, it will not play through my bluetooth headset (only though the phone or speakerphone). I have a Voyager Pro, which is not A2DP. Would the message play through the bluetooth if it was A2DP? Or is it a Google Voice thing?

I thought the Voyager Pro was A2DP when I ordered it, but now I am thinking of returning it for a Blueant Q1.

Would help to clarify how you're playing voicemail. I'm guessing from context that you're not dialing in to check it?

I am playing the message from the Google voice app.

Yeah, the Google app won't use Bluetooth... Well, it might through A2DP, I'm not sure... But definitely not a "regular" BT headset.
