BrandZ just published their “Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands” for their 2014 edition. Apple has been knocked off the hill-top by Google as the world's most valuable brand. According to BrandZ's metric, Google grew a massive 40% over last year and now holds a brand value of $159 billion. Apple is in a close second at $148 billion after a 20% decline.

I read that Google is investing in offshore markets that are much more profitable than the US market. India as an example. Plus they get huge tax bennies.
