I would be willing to bet people would leave Iphones and others by the droves if Motorola would finish what they have started with the Bionic accessories. Not two years or two releases from now but now by creating a Bionic Tablet Dock. Same concept as the crappy lapdock but make it a full size tablet that the Bionic docks into and mirrors the OS, no webtop needed. Give it a couple of fully functional usb slots and sd access. Make it affordable at around $250.00. That would be a fresh concept and would further make android stand out from apple.

It's a cool idea, but I don't think it would generate a huge shift away from Apple; Apple has managed to become a cultural icon right now. They have the look how cool I am I have an iPhone crowds, and have managed to fool everyone withe the "it just works" line... (except when it doesn't like when you hold it wrong, or it crashes randomly, etc... those don't count though cause it's shiny!)

They did a good job marketing themselves as the Anti-PC I'm fashionable crowd.

Android, is a little too techy to really find a home with the fashion statement crowds.

We can go even further and add a cigarette lighter to it, or maybe a toaster but Motorola will never sell something at such a low price. You would be looking at an $600 tablet. Might as well be the Zoom. And the Bionic is just a couple of inches away of being a tablet to begin with.
IMO

Like most ASUS phones you'll most likely have to get it unlocked.

Actually, I don't even think it's out yet.

No. It would have to be Tmobile, AT&T, or another GSM carrier.
