Well, for the first time since I'v rooted my Tablet have I had a problem like this My tablet is acting up and I restarted it and it now gets stuck on the Samsung Logo and dosn't d nothing after that. I have factory reset it and everything after resetting it up it still dose it again. I guess I need to Un-root the device to maybe fix the problem but not sure how. Thats the only other thing I can think of doing.

Anyone had this problem before with there rooted device or know how to fix it?

Can you boot to download mode? If yes, flash back using PC Odin.

Ensure you download correct firmware for your tab 2 at post #1 and all other tools: http://www.galaxytabforums.net/forum/showthread.php?p=22926

How to flash using PC, same link and go to post #3 with images and video tutorial.

Unsure, let me know your tab model.
We narrow the troubleshooting.

Keep us posted

I figure out how to un-root it just waiting for the Firlmware to download to do it. Yes I can go into download mode. I did check to make sure this was the right filmware for my device.

Arg, finally got the firmware downloaded after multiple tries and when I hooked up to my my computer it makes the sound like it recognized it and then dose it again with a pop up notification say device wasn't recognized and dose this in a continues loop it use to not do this at all had no problems connecting the device to my computer. . I'm really getting frustrated and angry as this stupid thing.. Even debated to take a freaking bat at it..

You have the drivers/KIES installed?
- Stop anti virus
- Kill KIES and only run PC Odin
- Search the firmware by using Odin (tar file)
- Put your tab on 'download mode'
- Connect it and flash via PC Odin

EDIT: 6-Dec-13 at 14:45hrs SG time

WHAT YOU NEED/PREPARATION:

Download driver or install KIES Samsung
Download Firmware/Stock Rom of your devices (Ensure you download correct firmware of your model)
Download and extract PC Odin: HERE

Note: DO NOT RUN KIES together with PC Odin

HOW TO FLASH GALAXY TABLETS DEVICES FIRMWARE/STOCK ROM USING PC ODIN:

1. Run PC Odin (at your PC)
2. Only check for PDA.

3. Turn off the galaxy tab
4. Turn on the galaxy tab, when the samsung galaxy tab logo appear, press volume[-].
5. Next you`ll see two icon, choose Download mode
6. Connect galaxy tab to PC
7. Back to PC Odin, When you saw the field background color turn to yellow that`s mean your galaxy tab ready for flash

8. Click Start button, wait until your all process is done and reboot
9. When the flashing is done, at Odin, left top, you`ll see text PASS.

Note: At booting for first time after flashing the boot process will take longer than usually.
If 30 minutes has pass and your device still freezing … that`s a bad news!

What your model of the tab? Verizon, internatioanl...and size: 8Gb, 16Gb...etc?

I will try to assist to search 'emergency files' to flash via Odin.

Meanwhile, try flash again with Odin without external sdcard and sim card if any.
