Galaxy s3 problem, please help

I just got the phone and the guy who was setting it up at the Sprint Store made it so that it buzzes every time I pick up the phone and have a notification. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to turn it off. It really bugs me, please help!

He's right. It's the Smart Alert setting under Motion.

Go to Menu. Choose Sound. Then choose Default Notifications. Choose a sound for your notifications.

Well, that will give you the sound you want. But I just tried the other two suggestions and they are right.
