My Note Edge has a factory ringtone on it that I would like to use on my Note 4. Is there anyway to copy the ringtone from the Edge onto my computer so I can put it on my Note 4?

Thanks so much!

Yes. You can send it to your Note 4 via bluetooth, email, etc from:

/system/media/audio/ringtones

using most file browsers.

Thanks, however, it shows access to the file was denied?

I am assume you are wanting me to use the browser on my device?

Tried finding it via USB connection on my computer with no luck.

Oh the boot sound. I don't have a boot sound since I am running a custom rom on mine or I would host it for you.

Edit...yeah that is a notification. Let me throw it on Dropbox real quick.

I navigated to it using ES File Explorer. I'm not sure whether or not the /system folder requires root. Let me check on another phone.

It works on an unrooted phone that I have as well. Maybe you just need a different file explorer on your phone.

Thanks very much, I will look into a different file explorer as it looks like the native file explorer on the Note 4 does not allow access to where those files are stored.

My Files (stock explorer) doesn't explore as deeply as ES or other aftermarket ones . Astro is another you may like but I agree with Ollie ES File Explorer is my favorite.
