Has anyone heard, if and when we get 2.1.... will the FB app be any better.... this is the ONLY thing i dont like about my droid.. i hate to say it.. but the FB app on my ipod touch is freaking awesome

Agreed, its the only thing i miss about my BB, FB ran amazing on it with zero issues.

its been down forever.
so i am just using that to see the news but if have notifications, then mobile site.

yeah I can't get notifications either. this is extremely annoying. And lets face it, facebook is huge now a days and a lot of people want it on their phone working properly. So verizon/android pleaseeee fix this.

Yea, it's a bit slower than m.facebook but I like it a lot more. Notifications work well too.

i use bloo. it's way better than the stock app. i still use the stock apps widget, but then go to bloo when i want to do things.

bloo needs to make a widget

Yes... just search "facebook" in the market and there are a bunch of FB apps. I personally use Bloo though.
