error that my text messages are full

I keep getting an error that my text messages are full even though I have no texts??? I only get 250 a month so it shows how much I don't use texting. Talk on the other hands is my method of choice. any suggestions? I have deleted my talk threads but the error comes back in 1 week. I have used 235 of my internal memory even though that number slowly creeps up even if I delete programs and fluff???

Like you I only purchased 250 text messages per month. Typically, I use 200 or less. I've never received any messages indicating that text messages are full. I use Handcent but in the stock messaging app there is a setting "Delete old messages" (as limits are reached). I do not know if this will solve your issue but it may.

I have that selected already but none of my old messages get deleted??? Wierd?

That is weird! Give Handcent a try. If you do, you should disable the notification settings in the stock app.

Currently, I have Sapphire installed. Let me know if Handcent corrects the issue
