When I want to search for something on google, i tap the address bar and start to type what I want, but my phone doesn't seem to ever delete the http:// part of the address, so i'll look at the address bar after typing everything and see "http://how to do things". I know that sometimes the phone does delete it when I start typing but i can't figure out what i'm doing differently. does anybody know how i can not have to manually delete the http:// before searching? i know its not too much of a problem, its just a nuisance to do it every time i wanna find something on google.

If your just doing a Google search tap the search button from your home screen. The little magnifying glass on the bottom.
