Uninstall The App Entirely Reboot And Reinstall The App.

Download The Apk, Open It, Click Install, (Some Users, First Time Need To Check The "Unknown Sources") Then Open And Follow The Directions.

OK... I've got to ask... Why do we need to plug in? Other than it doesn't work not plugged in.... And can I use rom manager now for recovery and stuff?

Does anyone know if the uninstall is the same as the Droid 2 and 3 where you delete hijack, logwrapper, and rename logwrapper.bin from the system/bin?

Just to let everyone know, Dragonzkiller (developer for Cyanogen mods) is working on a new recovery for the X2 that WON'T require tethering! Follow him (@dragonzkiller) on twitter as he gives updates. Here's a picture he posted. It does show it being "tethered" but he later tweeted that he has since been able to remove the tethering requirement:
