everyone says that the droid extreme will not have a physical keyboard.
but in this picture, it looks like the phone opens or slides..

so why would the phone open if there isn't a physical keyboard?
in another article, it says that 'Reports, though not yet officially confirmed, also say that the Droid Shadow will boast high-end features, including a FWVGA touchscreen positioned in a slender tablet shape, sans a physical keyboard.'

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!!

FWVGA = 854x480 display resolution, same as the Droid
Tablet shape = just what it says, touchscreen sans physical keyboard

Looking at the pics, i'm not convinced it's a slider any more than the iPhone is; it just has unique lines. If it were a slider, they'd be touting that feature left and right.

man if that thing had a keyboard...it's half the depth of a DROID and when the DROID came out it was the thinnest phone with a querty keyboard ever made. Not sure if it still is, havent seen one thinner. Im skeptical of a keyboard tho, just for the reason that dave pointed out, it would be on the top of their bragging list.
