Droid X wont Delete TXT Messages. HELP

Hi,

My droid X is rooted. I just noticed about 2 days ago when I tried to delete my TXT messages, it would only delete the content of the messages, but not the Actual person (contact) I sent a message to.

I have restarted phone, taken battery off. I don't want to factory restore if I don't have to, but if nothing else works, then I will.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'm using the default one that came with the droid, nothing special. Another thin i noticed is that some txt, say I sent them on Dec 31, 1969..

Woot Fixed it. Here is what I did, not sure which one did it, but it worked for me.

1. Downloaded "Delete Old Messages" from droid store.
2. Tried to update phone, but since it's rooted, then it just restarts itself.
3. Once phone restarted I ran the "Delete Old Messages" and I selected "delete messages over 1 day old"

And this deleted all the messages, even the ones which stated they were from December 31, 1996.

Hope this helps someone out there.
