Droid x mobile hotspot...?

I know that a lot of X users have had the same problem as me getting their mobile hotspot to stay connected for more than a few minutes. I sent verizon an email asking them what they knew and they told me to do a hard reset and download the update. The reset helped nothing and there is no update. I wrote them back and they couldn't answer my questions. Has anyone found a solution or heard any news about anything. Im super frustrated so please help if you can.

I assume you are talking about the paid hotspot and not the rooted wireless tether? Correct?

If so there is no update that I have read about.

Yes the paid mobile hotspot. Sorry i didn't clarify. I thought maybe someone with the same problem may have figured something out or heard something about 2.2 possibly fixing the issue.
