I don't mean to be a dick (as I'm a n00b), but what difference does this have from what birdman and team have been working on (other than the boot image)?

It's great that people are releasing ROMs for the DX, but you gotta work on a product that sets itself apart.

I don't see a link on Sapphire site for the Droid X rom. Only the Droid rom. This one errors with status 7. Am I just being retarded and doing something wrong?

Not being retarded...the video is probably just a custom boot animation. There is no Sapphire for DX from what I've been able to research.

Go to ROM Manager (assuming you have it, if you don't, get it in Marketplace), and under download ROMs there will be an option for birdman.

Yup, NexTHEME and REVOlution both work with it...those are the only two I've installed so far.
