Droid X Calander - Birthday field

Is there a way to have the birthdays from my contacts show on my calander? My Blackberry Storm did this sync automatically. THanks!

In your gmail calendar, on the left, add other calendars then browse interesting calendars, select birthdays etc. on the 'more' tab.
