Droid X alarm only shuts off with battery pull

What gives..if I have it vibrate and give a tone at the same time the tone doesnt go off and the vibration will not shut off no matter what I do unless I pull the battery....

go through a list of 3rd party software you have installed and see if any of that being there conflicts with the basic functions of your phone. I had an alarm app on my eris back in the day that would make the phone shut down and boot into recovery mode if I set it. True story...

If all else fails, don't call *611... those people are darn near clueless.
