Droid x 2.3 clockworkmod

I downloaded 2.3 from rom manager backed up.mt phone went to the file tries installing it rebooted and was exactly the same before everything. How can I get 2.3 to run?!?

Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROMs will not run on the Droid X. It has a locked bootloader so you will most likely end up bricking your phone if you try it again. I would advise you to refrain from loading any more gingerbread ROMs on a DX until it is mentioned that it was made specifically for the DX.

Don't use rom manager with the X. It doesn't do much. Use bootstrap to install ROMs/themes. And ensure they are compatible. Go the ROMs and themes subforum under Droid x for easy access.
