So this just started last night and I haven't figured out a way to fix it yet.

The phone appears to have no service, and sometimes displays the symbol at the top that it's in airplane mode. The problem is I'm unable to deselect airplane mode using the power button option as it's grayed out. If I try to do this in settings it just idles forever, and once the page is navigated away from it just stops trying.

I have performed soft resets and I have factory reset it twice. Any ideas?

This is a non-rooted droid.

I took it to the verizon store and they replaced it with a refurbished droid. I asked the guy if his seen this before and he said it's a known problem with them.

Mine does this... my droid will also re-start itself whether im in the middle of a text or whatnot, and then it goes into no signal/airplane mode.. and i have to select my network manually... also, it does me no good to turn my phone off, because if i had it in my pocket in school, and forgot to turn volume off, the phone would turn itself on and ring.... no idea why..
