Droid not connecting to computer.

My droid RAZR will not connect to Windows Media Sync (using the cord it came with) but it had before!
it seems as if my droid isn't connecting to the computer, because i cant see the device on my laptop. i'm using a mac.
this window saying "having trouble connecting?" comes up, and it usually does but then goes to the itunes sync window, but now it won't go
away.

I've realized what's wrong.
I had my phone on USB debugging, which threw it off.

Good catch. It seems like most times, problems with computer connections always trace back to "USB debugging" or one of the other options, I think its called "media sync" or something like that.
