I was in a call the other day and my phone randomly shut off. When I turned it back on I couldn't connect to the Verizon network. I tried switching into airplane mode, but when I switched out of it, the airplane icon stayed in my taskbar and I still couldn't connect to the Verizon network. I tried restarting multiple times. Eventually I decided to do a factory reset. This left me at the "Touch the Droid to begin" screen. When I touch it, the droid endlessly loops and says it may be a couple minutes. I still can't connect to the Verizon network. I've tried reverting to stock from http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-4-tech-support/206972-how-restore-your-motorola-droid-4-xt894-stock-windows-only.html What can I do?

Sounds like a dead phone to me time to take it back and get it replaced.

That could also be a SIM card error. Have the store try a new one in the phone first before swapping the phone itself.
