Loss of Network

All,
I work in a school with cinder block walls. As my day progresses, my DINC (Froyo 2.2 stock) moves from a 3G to a 1G connection and back. However, sometimes I lose my mobile network connection all together. If that happens, I try going into settings and restarting the mobile network connection. Problem is that the connection is stuck in an endless "turning on" mode and I cannot get it to click over. In the end, I have power cycle the DINC to fix the problem.

Anyone know why the endless mode gets stuck even if I go out to an interference free area?

Anyone know how to avoid the endless loop (short of not going to work)?

I do not have a solution but I have the exact same problem. I usually just cut the phone off and then back on and everything is back to normal.

Try putting the phone into airplane mode and then out of airplane mode.

I thought that as well. It doesn't always work though. Interesting huh?
