DROID 2 music player problem

I have MP3s downloaded on my Droid 2 and they will play at first, but then I'll go in at a later date and I get an error message "does not recongize ths media format" (or something like that). Now, none of my music will play and none of my personalized ringtones will either.
Any suggetions?

Try poweramp from the market its a better music player anyway

This is a problem that Motorolla is aware of but has yet to figure out a solution. Usually if you power off and on your phone it will fix the problem, at least for a couple of hours. Usually you will be unable to record a picture when this problem is happening. I really don't think they will ever address this problem. This is the 3rd phone I have had with this problem. Good luck.

I used to get this error often, but now I make a point to turn the phone off and on at least once a week and I havent seen it since.
