Droid 2.2 Root?

Hi, long story short, i want to know if there is any way i can flash / downgrade my motorola droid back to 2.1 or any lower version?

I am wanting to unlock it so i can use it with cricket mobile. Thats all i want i dont care about rest. Please tell me any information or programs / files / sites that i need or that will help me.

I just want to use my motorola droid 2.2 froyo / official updated via wifi on cricket not verizon.

Please help me, or lead me to right place / files.

I don't suggest you flash a droid to cricket... And I don't even think you CAN use a droid on Cricket because the droid is signed with Verizon. Flashing phones to cricket also causes it to loose it's potential. You'll get no market, no gmail, no gps, no Awesome-ness of the droid.

I did not ask for any discouragement. I know all the risks, and i do plan if possible to flash to cricket. All i asked is that how do i do it in my current situation.
