I put the Pagani to a level 8.
parts:
Engine - 3 upgrades
Turbo - 4 upgrades
Intake - 3 upgrades
Nos - 5 upgrades
Weight - 4 upgrades
Wheels - 5 upgrades

Tuning:
If you look at my previous post about the Pagani, I'm using the same exact set up. I haven't messed with any of the tunings sense then, just upgraded.
Its ALMOST exactly to the end of the line for level 8.

Absolutely amazing, I'm getting an 8.089 on the 1/4 every time making almost $9000 a race.

I saw a guy with the same car that pushed 8.011 his name was _
I want his settings lol not gonna lie.

gloomy is the name on the track. just in case you've seen it around.

Lvl 8 Pagani running lvl 5 tires, lvl 4 everything else,

Launch around 5k Nos at the beginning of 3rd, all shifts just past perfect.
1/2 mile- mid to low11.7xx 253mph
1/4 mile- mid 7.9's 219mph
I've been running with this setting for 8 days and haven't lost yet.

We'll after reading this thread I decided to get the game. I have been playing it for about 2 weeks now I'm in level 3 and cnt seem to beat that lambo on the 1/4 mile. I already bought all the level 3 cars the newest car I've gotten is the srt4 neon,gtr,lotus,s2k, supra and the ITR and all of the cars are maxed out in updgrades I changed the tuning and I'm close to beat the lambo with the lotus,s2k and gtr all three of these are running 9.8sec on the 1/4 but the lambo runs 9.5sec so I've been trying to beat him for about a week.

I used a similar set up, dropped my NOS down to 95% and squeezed out a 11.290 @ 276 mph

I have upgraded the Aero TT within level 9 and tuned it a little
and manage to get 11.360 on the 1/2 track.

One could probably do better. Now saving to get a new car

My tuning (or actually my girlfriend did this):
135% n02, 1.673 final drive. 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/6th- 2.827/2.268/1.968/1.683/1.495/1.365

Max out the engine before start -> shift immediately to gear 2, then perfect shift to gear 3 + immediate nitro -> good/perfect shifts from here on

Try and get perfect to good start. Run 1st out to red line. Nos in 2nd. Red line all your gears. 7.7's in 1/4 mile 11.2's in 1/2 mile.

currently I am using the Ultimate Aero TT, keeping it max at lvl 9 before i have enough respect and money to fully upgrade everything.

I'm using the setting u gave, and I can't hit 11.360 as u indicated, currently getting 11.5ish. can you shed some light on what could help?

What's the fastest car out there? Make your claim and back it up with numbers. When you give your car name, put down your 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile times. I'm looking to go after a new car, but I want to get something wicked fast and so far there's no real listing showing car names with numbers beside them to help us make a decision.

Different cars in this game have different specialties. Where 1 car may succeed In the quarter mile It may fail in the half. Of course it all depends on Gear ratios As well. I find that the veyron does well on the 1/4. the Aero and the venom are better in the half. thus far I've not seen the Veyron Ss beaten on the quarter. im posting 7.295 consistently though I've seen 7.280.
the venom is the current fastest on the half everyone uses it. im posting 10.94X consistently. also the side note I'm a racing at level 10. I've seen faster times than mine with the hennessy I haven't figured out the right gearing yet. but with the veyron ss I rarely lose. the aero has the highest top speed though im putting up 287mph in the half. I sold my first one for the veyron so as soon as I get my new one refined and maxes out ill post the numbers on it

ok Aero maxes out is getting 10.977 - .982 consistently at 286 mph.
hope that is what your looking for.

Ok, so for the GTR, a heavier car, you want the gear ratio (the numbers you see for 1st - 7th gear) to be around mid to lower range. Around 2 to be specific.

Try playing with the gears, 1st starting with about a 2.2 and so on (do not go any higher than 2.2). Play with the Final Drive to best suit your needs.

I've been playing with the GT-R R35 and I decided to keep it at level 5 maxed out. Because I have other cars at other levels. But so far I've been like this.

Ratios:
NOS:2.00

1st:3.910
2nd:2.770
3rd:2.050
4rth:1.520
5th:1.250

You're going slow enough to get all perfect shifts. Just NOS right away at 3rd gear. Its really nice and almost unbeatable for the 1/4 and even the 1/2.

getting 9.684 on the 1/4. I'm sure thats not the best for this car, but you wont lose every damn time, I can promise that.

If anybody's interested I have the specs for a level 4 SVT cobra that constantly runs 10.065, been using and i don't get beat as often and i kinda get bored of using the same much faster Subaru P1 to constantly win
