If you have Verizon FiOS at the VZW account holder's residence, look into an additional discount on the FiOS package for combining it with the wireless account into One-Bill. It took a lot of finagling through Customer Service to get it set up, but it was worth the effort, as it shaved another $20 off my total billing for FiOS plus VZW.

Verizon gives 15 % to any military service. Just present your DD214 and it will appear on your next bill.

You don't get a DD214 until you are discharged from active duty.
I get 22 percent discount on the first line only through my employer. AT&T offers a 24 percent discount through my employer.
