Does having the GPS enabled use a lot of data?

    just curious if the GPS uses data....and if so, does it use a lot.

    Unless there is an app out there that tells you how much data an app is using there is no way to determine this. If you are on Verizon's unlimited plan you really don't need to worry about it.

    The GPS radio does not use data.

    No. Using a GPS app that uses a lot of data uses a lot of data. The GPS receiver itself does not need data.
