Control notification volume with volume button?

I want to tie my notification volume to the ringer volume like how it is in the stock ROM. When I come into work I would just volume down a bit which would decrease both my ringer and notification volume but it seems MIUI doesn't work this way. Is there a setting I am missing? Help!

It did on past Miui versions and now on 1.7 the option to tie the notification and rington volume together is missing!

I want that back too it suck to have to go all the way into the setting menu to adjust the notification volume. And maybe i am missing something I hope someone can answer this question

just noticed this the other day as well. you have to hit the normal button on the notifications tab
