Contacts missing please help

I have entered many telephone numbers in my TB and when I select people I do not see them listed but when I go to make a phone call I can see their names and numbers in the list that appears there, what am I doing wrong.

Also when I make a call I have noticed that the most recent people called shows on top of my phone list but those numbers are gone when you look at the entire list (no longer shows in the alphabetical list)

COuld someone explain to me if this is how this is supposed to work or an I doing something wrong.

When you open the people app do you have three icons at the bottom of the screen? If you do, tap on the icon on the left, that should be "all contacts". You may be coming up on the call history tab. That's how my Dinc2 is set up. Different phone but still HTC. I just opened my contacts for the first time since we got the update and it asked which accounts I wanted my contacts to sync with (gmail, facebook, sim, and phone). Good luck!
