Contact syncing errors???

Wondering if anyone is having an issue with their contacts syncing. When I have contacts checked in the settings menu it gives the syncing symbol with an exclamation point. And at the bottom I get an error message. This is on two different gmail accounts. And it seems to affect the whole syncing process because I don't get any e-mail push.

Any thoughts???

Also what exactly is the difference between contact and the new people details choice???

No problem in email push or anything.
But it always in this state indicated sync error since on my previous Note to G2

Hmmm dunno what is going on. Don't have this issues with my N7 and didn't with the Moto X, Droid Maxx or Razr Maxx. So anyone know exactly what the people details selection is for???

No clue here. Just bite the bullet and perform factory reset. Backup everything first! I use Dropbox for free cloud storage to store my backup files. Remember, this phone only has internal memory, but it does have the File Manager app, which you have to 'Share' files to Dropbox. I much prefer Astro File Manager that connects to Dropbox natively.
